Tilda Swinton sleeps in glass box for surprise performance piece at Museum of Modern

The “Moonrise Kingdom” actress, 52, took up residence in a glass box at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Saturday as part of an unannounced performance piece. Clad in jeans and a blue button-down shirt, the Academy Award winner slept on an unadorned white pallet in a transparent display case.

Her public napping is part of a performance art piece titled “The Maybe,” which she debuted in 1995 at London’s Serpentine Gallery. She later repeated the work in the Museo Barraco in Rome. Swinton will return to the glass case several times to appear in the installation, but the exhibition dates remain a mystery even to MoMA employees.

Logitech - El General

This was released a few weeks ago, but hasn’t garnered the attention it deserves. The nimble and creative shop, Dojo, staged a riot in Morocco to create this ad. It was a risk well worth taking. The spot re-enacts the Tunisian revolution and pays tribute to rap artist El General, “whose provocative track ‘Head of State’ became the soundtrack of the 2010 uprising.”

Brilliant idea from JWT Brazil.

To curb people peeing on the curb during Carnival, they have constructed urinals that collect energy from pee—which in turn powers a band’s parade float.

“This is how the mechanism works: the flow of urine is used as a source of energy to move the dynamo – a process similar to that of a hydroelectric power plant -, which uses liquid to generate energy. It is then stored in a battery that is connected to AfroReggae’s electric trio after it is charged. If people pee in the correct place, the music of the party is guaranteed for a longer time.”
